Showing 1 - 8 of 8 products
Made by the Casella family in Yenda, New South Wales, and probably the most recognisable wine label on a Filipino dining table. Yellow Tail has won over 550 international wine awards since 2011 and was named one of the world's most loved wine brands by Drinks International.
The Range
Reds
Shiraz — full-bodied, ripe blackberry and plum with soft tannins and a lingering spice. Cabernet Sauvignon — the firmest, blackcurrant and cherry with vanilla oak. Merlot — the gentlest, plum and mocha with very little tannin grip.
Sweet whites and blush
Moscato and Gold Moscato at 7.5% ABV, and Pink Moscato — all sweet, lightly sparkling, and roughly half the strength of a standard red. Which is exactly why they suit long warm afternoons.
Joey minis — 187ml
Quarter bottles, about one large glass each, in Cabernet, Merlot and Chardonnay. They solve a problem full bottles do not: one person, one glass, no leftovers and no corkscrew. Useful for picnics, events and place settings.
Packs
Two-bottle packs with a free insulated Roo pouch cooler bag — which is the genuinely useful part in this climate, since it holds temperature for a few hours once chilled.
Which Yellow Tail Should You Buy?
For barbecue and grilled liempo: Shiraz
For steak or lechon kawali: Cabernet Sauvignon
For a weeknight or a first red: Merlot
For a party: Moscato or Pink Moscato
For a picnic: the Joey minis
Serving in Philippine Weather
Reds at 16 to 18°C — twenty minutes in the ref. Moscatos very cold at 6 to 8°C. Screw caps throughout, so an opened bottle reseals and keeps two to three days.
For adults of legal drinking age only. Please enjoy responsibly.
