Ballantine's has been blending Scotch since 1827 and is one of the best-selling Scotch whiskies in the world. The house style is balance rather than intensity — smooth, approachable, and built to be drunk rather than studied.

What We Stock

• Ballantine's Finest — the core blend. Light, smooth and versatile, with honey and gentle malt. Made for highballs and everyday drinking.
• Ballantine's 7 Year Old Bourbon Barrel Finish — finished in American bourbon barrels, which adds vanilla and sweetness on top of the standard blend. Fuller and rounder than the Finest.

Which One Should You Buy?

Finest if most of your whisky goes into a mixer — it holds up against soda and ginger ale and the price survives a crowd. 7 Year Old if you drink it over ice or neat and want more vanilla and body.

How to Drink It in This Climate

The highball is the natural serve: a tall glass packed with ice, one part whisky to three parts cold soda, stirred once. Ballantine's is smooth enough that it does not fight a mixer, which is exactly what you want in Philippine heat.
