Why It's Called "Outland" Instead of Scotch

Scotch whisky must be matured entirely within Scotland. Nomad's whisky spends its early years there, then travels to Jerez — home of sherry — to finish in casks that have never left Spain. That final maturation outside Scotland disqualifies it from the Scotch designation, so the distillers created a new category instead: Outland Whisky.

• Nomad Outland Sherry Cask — leans further into the sherry influence, with deeper dried-fruit and spice character than the standard release.

Which One Should You Buy?

Start with the Single Malt if you already know Scotch and want to taste what a genuine sherry finish adds. Move to the Sherry Cask if you find the standard release too light and want more of that Jerez character.

How to Drink It

Neat, in a nosing glass, with a few drops of water. The sherry influence pairs naturally with dried fruit, dark chocolate or aged cheese if you're serving it alongside something.
