Finished in Pedro Ximénez Casks at González Byass
Like its sibling, this whisky is distilled and initially matured in Scotland, then shipped to Jerez to finish in the cellars of González Byass. The difference is the cask: Pedro Ximénez rather than a standard sherry butt.
PX is the sweetest and densest of the sherries, pressed from grapes dried in the Andalusian sun until they are almost raisins. A PX cask gives a whisky far more raisin, honey and spice than an Oloroso would — which makes this the richer of the two Nomads.

How to Serve
Neat, in a nosing glass. A few drops of water opens the PX sweetness. No ice — cold suppresses exactly the richness you are paying for.
