What We Stock

• VSOP Médaillon — Very Superior Old Pale, aged longer than a VS with a minimum of four years in oak. Fruit-forward and mellow, with more spice and depth than an entry-level cognac while staying approachable enough to sip regularly.

Why It Drinks the Way It Does

Martell leans on eaux-de-vie from the Borderies cru, a small, less-planted growing area within Cognac known for producing spirit with a distinctive nutty, violet character — a point of difference from houses that draw mainly on the more common Grande and Petite Champagne crus.

How to Drink It

Neat, in a tulip glass, to properly taste the Borderies character. It also holds up well in a simple Cognac and ginger ale if you'd rather mix it.
