Not Champagne, But Built by the Same House

In the late 1950s, Moët & Chandon went looking for a New World terroir capable of producing genuinely high-quality sparkling wine outside France. They chose Agrelo in Mendoza's Uco Valley — high altitude, dry climate, and the kind of day-to-night temperature swing that builds real character into a grape. Chandon Argentina became the template for the brand's later expansions into the US, Australia, Brazil, China and India.
