Agave From Both the Highlands and the Lowlands

Most tequila producers use one or the other. Volcán de Mi Tierra blends highland and lowland Blue Weber agave — highland agave is sweeter and more floral, lowland is earthier and more herbal. Combining them gives a fuller profile than either alone.

The name refers to the Volcán de Tequila, the dormant volcano whose mineral-rich soil the agave grows in.
