Where it sits: three years above the 12 Double Cask, and bottled three points stronger at 43% rather than 40%.
Same cask philosophy as the 12 — European oak sherry casks and American oak sherry casks, both seasoned in Jerez before filling — but with fifteen years and more strength behind it. The extra ABV is not a detail: it carries the honey and citrus further and gives the finish more length.

How to Serve
Neat, in a nosing glass. At 43% a few drops of water will open it without thinning it — more forgiving of dilution than the 40% 12. No ice.
How It Differs From the 12 Double Cask
Same casks, same distillery, three extra years and three extra points of strength. The 12 is honeyed and balanced; the 15 is deeper, with more citrus and chocolate and a noticeably longer finish. If you like the 12, this is the same whisky with more to say.
