Description
Belgian Witbier — Orange Peel, Coriander and 500 Years of Recipe
Hoegaarden traces back to the monks of Hoegaarden village, who brewed with orange peel and coriander imported from Curaçao — spices that had no business being in beer at the time and now define the whole witbier style.
Pouring it is the point: light yellow and naturally murky, like letting the sun fall into your glass, under a soft cloudy head. The haze is unfiltered wheat, not a fault.
