Ghost is handcrafted with 18 botanicals, 17 of which are locally foraged in the Cordilleras. That ratio is the whole story: this is not a London Dry recipe made in the Philippines, it is a gin built from what grows on the mountain.
It comes from Witchcraft Distillery, founded in 2015 by Master Distiller Jackson So in the Northern Philippine Highlands.

The distillery's own recommendation: satin smooth for a sophisticated Martini, velvet rich for a bold Negroni. Both work, and they show different sides of it — the Martini brings out the citrus and florals, the Negroni the earthy and spiced notes.
It is also good enough to sip neat over a large cube, which is unusual for a gin at any price.
