Description
Six months in white-oak barrels — enough to round the Blanco's edges and add colour without burying the agave underneath. That is a deliberately short rest for a reposado, and it keeps this closer to the Blanco than most reposados sit.
The barrels are made specifically for the job rather than bought in used, which is unusual at this price.

How to Serve
The most flexible of the three. Neat over a large cube, or in a margarita if you want a rounder, less bracing version than the Blanco makes. It is also the best of the range in a tequila Old Fashioned.

Questions
Is six months long enough to notice?
Yes. The colour change is obvious and the palate is noticeably rounder, but the agave is still clearly in front — which is the point.
Reposado or Añejo?
Reposado if you will mix it at all. Añejo if it is going in a glass on its own.
