Description
Dry Italian Sparkling — Crisp, Fine Bubbles, the Spritz Base
Cinzano has been making wine and vermouth in Italy since 1757, and the Cuvée Storica name nods to that history. This is Prosecco D.O.C. — dry rather than sweet, which is the main thing separating it from the Asti on the shelf beside it.
Green apple, pear and citrus with fine persistent bubbles. It is the bottle you want if you are making an Aperol Spritz.

How to Make a Spritz
Three parts Prosecco, two parts Aperol, one splash of soda, over plenty of ice in a large wine glass. Orange slice. That is the whole recipe.
Food Pairing
- Fresh oysters and seafood.
- Prosciutto, salami and antipasti.
- Fried food — the bubbles and acidity cut through it.
- Soft cheeses.
Serving Suggestion
Serve well chilled, 6 to 8°C. Use a flute or a white wine glass — a wider glass shows the aromatics better. Open carefully and pour in two stages.
