That is the whole difference. Almost every gin is built on a neutral grain spirit. Nordés uses a base distilled from Albariño grapes — Galicia's signature white wine grape — which gives a rounder, softer, faintly fruity foundation that grain simply cannot produce.
The name refers to the northeastern wind that blows in off the Atlantic onto the Galician coast. Eleven botanicals, including Galician bay leaf, lemon verbena, hibiscus, cardamom, ginger and eucalyptus.
