Description
Galicia's Own Lager — Brewing Since 1906
Estrella Galicia comes from A Coruña in Galicia, on Spain's Atlantic northwest coast, and it has been brewed by the same family since 1906. It is the beer of that region in a way few beers manage anywhere.
At 5.5% ABV it is slightly stronger than a standard lager, with more malt body and a firmer hop bitterness than the mass-market alternatives.
Product Highlights
- Spanish lager from Galicia, brewed since 1906
- 5.5% ABV — slightly above standard lager strength
- 6 x 330ml pack
- Fuller malt body than most mass lagers
- Still family-owned
Tasting Notes
- Appearance: Clear golden with a firm white head
- Nose: Clean malt with a floral hop lift
- Palate: Fuller-bodied than a standard lager, balanced bitterness
- Finish: Crisp and clean
Serving Suggestion
Serve cold, 4 to 6°C. Poured into a glass rather than drunk from the bottle — there is more malt aroma here than a light lager offers.
