Description
Whole Fresh Citrus, Not Dried Peel
Most gins use dried citrus peel. No. TEN uses whole fresh grapefruits, oranges and limes, distilled in a small still the distillery calls Tiny Ten — hence the name. Whole fruit means the oils, pith and juice all go in together, which is messier, slower and produces something dried peel cannot.
Chamomile flowers complete it, and they are why a No. TEN martini tastes softer and rounder than the botanical list suggests.

- Finish: Long, clean, citrus oils lingering
How to Serve
This is a martini gin. Very cold, a whisper of dry vermouth, a twist of pink grapefruit rather than lemon — the grapefruit echoes what is already in the spirit. In a G&T it wants a plain, restrained tonic; a heavily flavoured one buries the fruit you paid for.
Worth saying plainly: this is not the gin for a bulk punch bowl. Use London Dry for that.

Questions
Why is it more expensive than standard Tanqueray?
Whole fresh fruit costs more than dried peel and yields less per distillation, and it is produced in small batches in a single small still rather than at scale.
Is it worth it for gin and tonic?
Honest answer: partly wasted there. The detail that justifies the price shows up in a martini or neat over a large cube. For everyday G&T, standard Tanqueray does the job at a fraction of the cost.
