Jägermeister is a German herbal liqueur built from 56 botanicals including citrus peel, liquorice, anise, poppy seeds, saffron, ginger, juniper berries and ginseng. Cinnamon and vanilla sit over the top of the legendary secret recipe.
The recipe has not changed, and neither has the correct way to drink it.
Serve It From the Freezer
This is the whole thing. Jägermeister is designed to be served at -18°C, straight from the freezer, and it is a different drink cold than at room temperature — the cold thickens the texture and pulls the bitterness into balance. Warm Jägermeister is medicinal; frozen Jägermeister is smooth and syrupy.
At 35% ABV it will not freeze solid. Keep the bottle in the freezer permanently.
Tasting Notes

How to Serve
Ice-cold and neat, in a shot glass or a small tumbler. It also makes a genuinely good highball with ginger beer and lime, and a Jäger and cold brew is better than it has any right to be.
