It is built entirely from four main single malts drawn from the four corners of Scotland, each aged a minimum of fifteen years — which makes it a blended malt rather than a blended Scotch, and the most distinctive bottle Johnnie Walker makes.
It is also the one that single malt drinkers take seriously. If you drink Talisker or Cragganmore on their own, this is where the range becomes interesting.
